Ankita has joined the ESIPP as a Research Assistant, working at ESRI in Economic Analysis section. She has recently attained her Master’s in Renewable Energy from MNIT Jaipur (India). Her master’s thesis focuses on long-term power system planning with consideration of short-term operational constraints. The work was carried out using TIMES energy model generator. She completed her bachelor’s in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from NIT Goa (India).
Her research interests are power system expansion planning, energy and environment policy development, sustainable development and integrated energy system. Her work in ESIPP focuses on demand side flexibility, power-to-heat networks particularly heat pumps and integrated energy systems.
